The Bridgestone Potenza RE980 AS+ is a 4-season tire designed for drivers of sports cars, coupes, as well as high-performance sedans. The RE980 AS+ features an asymmetrical tread pattern that improves performance regardless of road conditions. It provides greater stability, traction as well as a sporty handling without compromising on safety on both wet and dry roads. This model has been developed for drivers of performance and luxury vehicles who like to aggressively approach curves, regardless of weather conditions. The asymmetrical design of the sole is maximized to increase handling and traction. Full depth 3D slats and slots help reduce braking distance on dry and wet ground. It is also equipped with several long circumferential grooves offering remarkable performance on wet roads. Furthermore, the multiple side grooves of this tire help reduce the risk of aquaplaning.
