A Partnership Over 60 Years in the Making
Since Lamborghini's founding in 1963, only one tire manufacturer has ever been trusted to equip its cars: Pirelli. This loyalty isn't accidental, it's built on mutual trust, a shared commitment to performance and Italian excellence, and decades of joint development.
This exclusive partnership makes Pirelli far more than a simple supplier. It's a technical collaborator embedded in the development of every Lamborghini model, with tires engineered and homologated specifically for each vehicle to extract the full potential of these extraordinary machines.
The Aventador Pirelli Edition is the official celebration of that union, a limited-production vehicle available in both Coupé and Roadster form, conceived as a tribute to more than half a century of collaboration.
An Exclusive Design by Centro Stile Lamborghini
For this special edition, the Centro Stile Lamborghini, the brand's in-house design studio, developed a fully dedicated visual treatment built around a two-tone scheme that alternates matte and gloss finishes.
The most distinctive element? A thin red stripe running the full length of the roof, engine cover, mirrors, and outer air intake profiles. This design cue, instantly recognizable, is a direct visual reference to Pirelli's iconic logo, which also appears on the tires themselves.
The red thread continues inside: it runs along the headliner and across the seats, which are also adorned with both Lamborghini and Pirelli logos. Each car features an exclusive interior plaque reading "Pirelli serie speciale", underscoring the uniqueness of this series.
The car is offered in six colours: yellow, red, white, black, light grey, and dark grey, each providing a different contrast against the red stripe and the contrasting-colour P Zero tires.
Under the Hood: A Legendary V12
Mechanically, the Aventador Pirelli Edition retains all the characteristics that made the standard Aventador a landmark supercar, and they are impressive:
- Engine: naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 (6,498 cc), 60°, multi-point injection
- Power: 691 horsepower (LP 700-4)

The P Zero is Pirelli's benchmark high-performance tire, originally developed to meet the demands of supercar and sports car manufacturers. Its design, optimized for traction, braking, and high-speed handling, comes directly from development programs conducted in partnership with manufacturers like Lamborghini.
