I bought these tires to replace OE tires. They were Continental contactsport 5p. The new tires are rated firmer rubber than original equipment. However I have not really noticed a difference and they handle the road well. The biggest difference come in the sidewall strength. They are softer than the 5P. The overall ride is much better, and have sacrificed a little lateral handling. But on a 19 inch rim, I rarely feel imperfections in the road. Where with the previous tires, any bump felt like I was going to break a wheel. The tires are quiet and road noise is very minimal. Overall I am very pleased with the tire and would recommend for anyone who wants a good handling tire with ride comfort on larger rims.
