Overview

The four season/summer tire from Continental, the ContiCross Contact LX Sport CONTISILENT, was specifically engineered to provide increased performances while used on highway conditions. Its tread was designed to balance a quiet and comfortable driving experience without sacrificing safety and performances. The four central grooves ensure a consistent grip by channeling water out of the tread in an efficient manner therefore increasing traction, grip but also braking performances. The tread includes many diagonal and lateral sipes which significantly reduces the risk of hydroplaning and increases grip and traction on wet surfaces. The ContiCross Contact LX Sport CONTISILENT incorporates CONTISILENT Technology which reduces the perceived noise from the road by up to 20% thanks to a wide polyurethane foam solution attached to the interior tread.
