Snow and ice performance is VERY comparable to brand name winter tires from Bridgestone and Continental that I've used before. It's a bit louder and the ride a bit rougher at very high speeds. That said, for the price it's amazing value and is just as good as the brand name tires in the city and just a bit less unrefined at above highway speeds.
