Maxtrek TREK M900 ICE (STUDDABLE)

Living in northern Ontario travelling highways and city. These tires didn't let me down. Noisier than the stock tires but it's not a problem for me. Rarely had my truck in 4x4 this winter. I'd buy them again.

I have had these on for one trip to the mountains for a skiing trip. They grip really well, I opted for studs installed, so ice traction started out excellent (studs when worn aren't so good). The only reason I've left off one star is because they're medium loud at highway speed (not as loud as worn mud tires, but very noticable). For the price, they're a good choice. If money isn't an option, then there's obviously better tires.

Great tires so far. I was worried about any noise complaint and honestly the only time I notice them is when going 90+ km / hour on a CLEAR highway. It’s a slight hum. It’s certainly not an issue because I find sensory stuff like that quite annoying. I didn’t get them studded. Guys at the shop said they’re rugged, and on ice and snow they seem to do well! Ouf! Les pneus les plus bruyants que j'ai eu. J'ai opté pour la version cloutée et ces pneus sont extrêmement bruyants. Je les ai installé sur le Santa Fe 2021 de ma conjointe qui a habituellement un roulement doux et silencieux. J'ai un Jeep Wrangler avec des 35" tout-terrains et ils sont moins bruyants que ces TREK M900 ICE cloutés. J'ai hâte de voir comment ils vont se débrouiller cet hiver...

Très satisfait . Ils vont très bien bien sur la route , même si j'ai choisi un diamètre total plus grand que d'origine . 215 / 70 R 16 , au lieu de 235 / 60 R 16 . Ils sont très efficaces aussi dans la neige , à ma surprise , vu que les crampons sont moins espacés qu'il semblent sur la photo. Sur terrain plat , je peux même rester sur 2 roues motrices , tant que le dessous de mon Grand Vitara ne frotte pas .
