It provides exceptional performance, no matter the circuit. The asymmetrically designed tread features different rubber compounds on the outer and inner areas of the sole. The massive outer shoulders feature a rubber tread whose stiffness has been specially designed to provide maximum grip and excellent dry grip when cornering, especially in tight corners. The notched center ribs and inner shoulder use rubber with a stiffer elastomer to provide a precise steering response. Like all summer tires, they should not be used in near freezing conditions, in sleet, or on ice. The CONNECT version of the PILOT SPORT CUP 2 (240) CONNECT integrates Michelin's TRACK CONNECT Technology which enables the driver to access an array of relevant data via a mobile application.
