Installed a set in 2001 BMW 330Ci coupe. Happy with the delivery, and they leave the tire at the location I specified. Used for 2 winters. Drives in city only, with many stop-and-go, residential area, more delay for snow getting plow/clear. Driving speed is always within city limit of 30-60 km/h. The first winter, the tire performed very well in thick snow, and ice. Found the cornering grip in 1st spring while raining is not matching several of my all season tire. Its raining grip is as poor as my 7 tire old all season tire which still has 5mm thread. On second winter, the tire's snow grip is like my old 5-7mm winter tire that are 5-7 years old. The raining grip is remaining the same, so it is not improving, or degrading. Ice performance is degraded by 5 - 10% so it is still reasonable. No comment on noise as BMW's noise insulation is good, and seldom drive in highway, or long distance. I don't recommend to buy, and won't buy again. I still interested to try other Kumho all-season or winter tire.

Overview
The new WINTERCRAFT ICE WI31 (STUDDABLE) from Kumho is a winter tire specially designed to brave snow-covered and icy roads safely. Kumho decided to incorporate a directional tread design to enhance snow performance and included biting edges within the V-shaped formation for added grip and traction on snow. The well optimized V-shaped grooves helps channeling water efficiently and is combined with multi-directional sipes for incredible ice grip and traction. The Kumho WINTERCRAFT ICE WI31. This winter tire is sincerely the worst-performing I've ever had in a winter tire throughout my 30 year driving history. They're nearly the same as my OEM all-seasons, minus the fact that they have better stopping distance. Ice 2/5 Deep Snow 2/5 Couldn't recommend these for FWD configurations, at least on a Jetta.
Bon pneu je dirai par rapport au prix...j'ai l'impression de vassiller de gauche a droite en accélération, je dois absolument tenir le volant a deux mains... Pas encore de grosse neige, mais sur asphalte sèche, pas trop en confiance, les dernières journées très venteuse non pas aidé du tout...j'ai hâte de voir la suite. Mes 4 étoiles c'est par rapport au prix, mais sinon ça ne mériterait pas plus que 2 jusqu'à maintenant.
Je donne 4 étoiles mais si les clous auraient durés plus d'une saison j'aurais donné 5 étoiles . Utiliser sur un véhicule 4x4 qui roule pratiquement toujours sur des rangs de campagne mal déneigés et glacés. La première année ils étaient très bien dans la neige et sur la glace ... mais après une saison il ne restait pratiquement aucun clous et ceux qui restent sont très usés donc ça ne vaut vraiment pas la peine de les faire cloutés pour 120$ de plus . J'ai toujours acheté des pneus cloutés de compagnie et mais là c'est la première fois que mes clous disparaissent comme ça , je sais pas si c'est la qualité des clous installés par pneus à rabais qui est médiocre.
