Overview

The new Continental VikingContact 7 is a winter tire designed for harsh winter conditions. Its soft tread compound offers a powerful grip on snowy and icy roads but also provides a great durability. The deep tread grooves disperses slush and water rapidly for stability and control during cornering and every day driving. Gripping edges offer a similar effect to studs which improves braking distance on snowy and icy roads. Available in 88 sizes plus three Runflat sizes, this tire is compatible for many vehicles. The VikingContact 7 compound is optimized for Nordic weather which encludes improved wet braking performance. Très très déçu. J’ai changé d’auto au milieu de l’hiver et elle venait équipé avec les Viking Contact. Très ordinaire dans la neige. Sensation de flottement même avec traction intégrale. Jamais un bon feeling de contrôle. Et je parlerai pas de sur la glace. Je m’ennuie de mes Blizzak que j’adorais.

Very good on light snow, rain, dry pavement or road. Absolutely garbage on ice and a lot of snow. Also, I have 4 wheel drive, and this is the worst tiers I have ever bought. Not to mention how expensive they are I expected a lot better performance. Disappointed.
