The WINGUARD WINSPIKE WS62 from NEXEN is a studdable winter tire designed for pickups and SUVs. The 'V' shape of the tread makes it easier to evacuate snow and slush and allow for a better traction. The WS62 offers the option to add studs for a more aggressive grip on icy pavement and to reduce braking distance. It is also equipped with several rigid blocks and slats that provide increased control and maneuverability while cruising at high-speed.

All-Seasons Touring Tire
A studdable tire is a winter tire manufactured with molded holes in the tread, allowing removable metal studs to be installed for enhanced grip on ice and hard-packed snow, particularly useful in freezing rain or extreme conditions. Unlike a studded tire (which comes with studs already installed at the factory), a studdable tire is sold without studs, giving you the option to add them later. To order the studded version of a tire, simply check the “Studded Version” option (located near the “Add to Cart” button).
